International Biz Times seeks Latin American reporter

January 6, 2016

Posted by Chris Roush

The International Business Times, a leading source of real-time news and intelligence about the global and national economies, seeks an aggressive, enterprising and competitive entry-level reporter to cover breaking news in Latin America under real-time deadline pressure.

The ideal candidate brings an obsession for political and economic trends and is a news junkie who can keep us ahead of the pack on major breaking news, while simultaneously crafting feature, analytical and/or investigative stories.

Previous experience reporting on Latin America, immigration, politics or market trends is preferable, but by no means required.

Ability to break news, meet deadlines and work in English and Spanish is a must. SEO skills are a plus.

The position is based in our newsroom in New York. Applicants should send a resume, cover letter and at least five clips.
