Insider seeks a newsletter editor in London

Insider is hiring an editor to join its editorial newsletter team. This role must be based in the UK.

Insider’s growing editorial newsletter team produces a portfolio of engaging daily, weekly and monthly newsletters — spanning business, news and life. The team works closely with reporters, correspondents and editors across the global newsroom.

The editor will manage the morning production of Insider’s new flagship newsletter. They will edit content, update the newsletter, write parts of the newsletter, help build the newsletter in SailThru, and manage the sending of the newsletter. They will also manage the production and sending of other Insider newsletters as needed.

The editor will have a familiarity with the US business, tech, and markets sectors. They’ll be a curious and conversational writer, excited to join an inclusive and collaborative team, and have a passion for working with new products. Experience with SailThru is a plus. This role will report to the Head of Newsletters in the US.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
