The successful candidate will work in Report on Business, home to Canada’s best business journalism and a consistent leader in reporting on finance, companies and investing. He or she needs to be an initiative driven-writer who goes well beyond the daily news to identify and develop the important themes in that region and write with voice and personality.
We’re looking for compelling features and insight-driven news stories and the personalities that drive them. A good balance between business and feature writing is required, as well as having a great eye for stories you must be able to self-assign.
Also fluency in French and a great network of local contacts are essential.
