Newsday has an opening for a reporter covering commercial real estate and startup companies.
The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines, file quickly and accurately for our daily online and print reports and produce high-profile enterprise stories. A demonstrated ability to report and write a story in an engaging manner for the consumer as well as the business community is essential. Candidates should have at least one year’s business reporting experience, ideally at a medium to large circulation newspaper, business magazine or online organization. Social media skills are essential.
The job is based in Melville on Long Island, New York.
Other requirements include a bachelor’s degree, valid driver’s license and automobile.
