The Business Examiner, an award-winning, independent, locally owned bi-weekly newspaper based in Tacoma, Wash., is looking for a new business reporter.
We are looking for an energetic, assertive self-starter who can tackle a five-county footprint with a diverse array of businesses, from health care conglomerates in Tacoma and large-scale distributors in Kent to mushroom farms in Olympia and homemade candy makers in Yelm.
Candidates should be comfortable with quick turnaround for breaking news and writing both in-depth, magazine-style pieces for the print publication and bite-sized business briefs for online.
To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume and writing samples to editor Arnie Aurellano at arniea@businessexaminer.com.
