The ideal candidate will be able to break news regularly and take an ambitious view of the field — covering the industry’s vast influence on politics and society, as well as keeping insiders abreast of Washington, state-level and global efforts to regulate the field.
We’re excited for a reporter who knows how to work the halls of Congress and agencies to break news, and can also see the full picture clearly enough to execute broad stories about technology as a power base. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for politics, a thirst for scoops, strong writing skills and a demonstrated ability to serve as a thought leader on trends in technology policy and politics.
