What You’ll Be Doing:

- Identify trends before they hit the mainstream. We want someone with a keen eye on industry shifts.
- Direct coverage as the ad world undergoes significant transformations. Be a key player in covering groundbreaking innovations.
- Explore the impact of digital innovation on advertising, delivering insights that keep our readers ahead of the curve.
- Contribute to our honorific programs and Ad Age conferences.
Who You Are:
- At least five years experience covering advertising or other relevant topics. You should be well-versed in industry players and market dynamics.
- You are adept at breaking news and live to find scoops.
- Juggling stories is second nature to you. Bonus if you can do it without breaking a sweat.
- Web3, digital, data – these are more than buzzwords for you; they’re your expertise.
- Move beyond reporting; help devise an editorial strategy that reflects fresh thinking and keeps our content ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate effectively within the newsroom. We’re looking for someone who can contribute ideas and work seamlessly with the team.
- Public speaking skills are a plus.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Comfortable on stage and on camera – we need someone who can represent Ad Age professionally.
- At least five years in a professional newsroom with strong reporting skills.
- Motivated and self-driven, someone who can work independently and contribute to the team’s success.
- Some travel to industry events is expected. Be ready to chase down the next big story wherever it may be!

This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Pay Transparency Disclosure:
The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000.
