Minneapolis-based Finance & Commerce Inc., which publishes content targeted to professionals in commercial real estate, construction, law and politics, is looking for a Web Coordinator.
The Web Coordinator is chiefly responsible for uploading content to the websites for the Finance & Commerce daily newspaper and the Minnesota Lawyer weekly publication, and occasionally assists with the twice-a-week Capitol Report publication’s website Politics in Minnesota. The coordinator oversees e-blasts as well as social media and strategy for our platforms and works with our marketing team to promote the websites and engage readers.
We’re looking for an energetic and innovative self-starter who has at least three years of journalism experience, journalism training, and the technical skills to hit the ground running. The Web Coordinator needs to possess a sense of urgency about posting breaking news in the midst of other tasks. The ideal candidate is someone with a keen eye for detail and accuracy throughout the posting process. Light editing and caption writing are sometimes needed.
The Web Coordinator reports to the editor of Finance & Commerce.
