Bloomberg News seeks an editor for the finance team in the Americas.
The ideal candidate for this New York-based role will be an experienced writer and editor with a knack for nurturing reporters and helping them translate complex concepts into compelling prose. Responsibilities will include coaching and mentoring reporters, helping them generate enterprise stories and collaborating with other members of the team and the overall news organization.
An ability to work on short deadlines is essential.
Qualifications:
-bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-minimum of five years as an editor
-experience helping to produce narrative feature stories, compelling enterprise
-a working knowledge of Wall Street and the financial markets
