Stephen Wright has been named the new Asia business editor for the Associated Press.
An AP story states, “As business editor, Wright directs the AP’s coverage of Asia’s dynamic economic growth and its global implications, working with the news agency’s journalists throughout the region.
“‘Stephen has the qualities to drive important business and economic news coverage across the Asia-Pacific region, which represents an increasing share of the world’s wealth and aspirations,’ said Senior Managing Editor John Daniszewski, who oversees international coverage.
