The Berkshire Edge in western Massachusetts is adding a business news section that will appear every Monday.
Marcie Setlow of The Edge writes, “Business Monday will cover both for-profit and non-profit enterprises. We recognize that members of the non-profit sector face their own set of business issues, but they nevertheless play a major role in the economic structure of this community.
“When David Scribner and I started The Edge, our goals were to truly reflect the breadth and depth of our interesting community and also to provide a forum where our readers could discuss issues and share ideas. We have structured the business section to reflect these same ambitions.
“Our motto has always been ‘We don’t simply report. We build community.’ So, built into Business Monday are many elements where readers and community members can share and contribute information.”
