Selena Larson has been hired by CNN to join its tech team as a writer based in San Francisco.
She will start Sept. 12 and spend her first week in the New York office.
She writes about the intersection of technology, culture and human behavior. She joins CNN by way of the Daily Dot where she covered tech and all its quirks for almost two years.
Previously, she was the social reporter for ReadWrite, a freelance journalist and multimedia producer working as a host for creativeLIVE, writing for publications including VentureBeat, AZ Tech Beat and SheKnows, and as an editorial professional helping small businesses tell their story online.
Her work has appeared in Lifehacker, The Arizona Republic, Business Insider and others.
She is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Cronkite School of Journalism.
