Bloomberg Television’s morning anchor Stephanie Ruhle is jumping to cable news rival MSNBC, reports Kevin Dugan of the New York Post.
Dugan writes, “Ruhle, 40, is co-host of the ‘Market Makers’ program and is also a managing editor. She has been at Bloomberg TV since 2011. Before that, Ruhle was a managing director at Deutsche Bank.
“‘After 19 years of my life covering and working in the financial markets, the past four years at Bloomberg have been the most rewarding,’ Ruhle said in a statement. ‘It has been a true honor to wear a Bloomberg badge and this credential has been the passport to sit across from some of the greatest titans of industry including Mike Bloomberg, the visionary behind this extraordinary company.’
“It wasn’t immediately clear what her new role at MSNBC would be or when it would begin. Mark Kornblau, a spokesman for the network, wasn’t immediately available to comment.”
