Jennifer Beahm has been named editor-in-chief of the Pittsburgh Business Times, effective immediately.
Patty Tascaeralla of Business Times writes, “Beahm, 37, had served as managing editor since October 2008. She joined the company in 2004 as a reporter covering biotechnology, energy and transportation. She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in English and the University of Missouri with an M.A. in Journalism.
“‘I’m looking forward to continuing to do great work with a great team,’ Beahm told the staff, adding that the new year brings new goals. ‘So, let’s go get ’em.’
“She replaces Howard Burns, who left in November to become editor of NJBIZ.”
