Hedge fund reporter Elana Margulies has been hired by accounting firm Eisner Amper.
Margulies will write articles, opinion pieces and original research designed to help illuminate the most challenging issues confronting fund managers and executives.
“Changes in market conditions, regulatory complexities and increased compliance requirements have created headwinds for funds seeking sustainable growth models,” said Michael Laveman, a partner in EisnerAmper’s financial services practice, in a statement. “We know our clients look for, and find helpful, relevant and thoughtfully written analysis regarding fund performance and other issues. We’re confident that original thought leadership, based on the firm’s deep expertise along with Elana’s knowledge and clarity of style, will be of real value to them.”
Margulies was most recently chief reporter at Pageant Media’s Hedge Fund Manager Week. She has also written and researched numerous articles for leading publications, including Institutional Investor’s Alternative Investment News.

Margulies received her Bachelor of Arts with honors from Brandeis University and Master’s Degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
