Zach Dorfman has joined Yahoo News as a national security correspondent.
He will be working under Sharon Weinberger, D.C. bureau chief of Yahoo News.
Dorfman joins from The Aspen Institute where he has worked as a staff writer since 2019. The investigative journalist has also had his work published in Foreign Policy, Politico, The Atlantic, Yahoo, and The Wall Street Journal among others.
Dorfman was previously with the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs for more than 11 years, where he worked as an assistant editor, associate editor, senior editor and most recently as a senior fellow.
Dorfman is a B.A. in government and philosophy from Skidmore College and an M.A. in international relations and affairs from the University of Chicago – Committee on International Relations.
