Lisa Lednicer is now a night editor, metro, at The Washington Post.
She joins from the multiplatform desk where she was editing stories across print, web and mobile platforms as well as the digital newsletters Health 202, Finance 202, Energy 202, Cybersecurity 202, Technology 202 and The Trailer (politics).
Lednicer joined the Post 7 years ago after almost 13 years as a reporter at The Oregonian and three years as the top editor at Willamette Lawyer magazine.
Prior to that, she was a reporter at the St. Paul Pioneer Press, where she was also dispatched to help a sister paper, the Grand Forks Herald,
She was also one of the leaders of the team that won the Herald the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.
Lednicer is also an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland.
Lednicer has a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
