Washington Post hires Rickett as copy editor

Christopher Rickett

The Washington Post has appointed Christopher Rickett to the post of copy editor on the multiplatform desk.

Rickett joins from Gannett, where he co-managed a production staff that worked with digital and print content for newspapers in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.

In addition, Rickett has also worked at The Denver Post, Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun, The Indianapolis Star, and The Des Moines Register.

He has also edited for The Roanoke Times and reported for The Evansville Press.

Rickett holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University, Bloomington.
