Vice News has promoted Elizabeth Landers to the post of chief political correspondent, tasking her with leading on-air political coverage for its newsmagazine TV show “VICE News Tonight” and the outlet’s broader news coverage.
Previously, Landers was at CNN having joining the network in 2013 as a freelance news assistant. She then became a video producer for CNN’s election coverage, moving to Columbia, S.C., and then served as a White House producer.
She was also a contributing writer at SCENE Magazine/New York Observer and has served as an online editorial intern at Glamour Magazine. She was also a freelance writer at Daily Front Row.
Landers is a B.A. in political science and government from Tufts University.
