Toronto Star taps MacIntyre as managing editor for news

Nicole MacIntyre

Nicole MacIntyre has joined the Toronto Star as managing editor, news.

She comes from The Globe and Mail, where she worked as a Toronto editor, and most recently as a deputy national editor. She has also reported and edited for The Hamilton Spectator.

MacIntyre previously also reported for the Toronto Star from 2003 to 2004. She has also reported for Waterloo Region Record and was an intern at The London Free Press.

MacIntyre has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Western Ontario.
