Tony Barboza, an environment reporter at the Los Angeles Times, will be joining the Los Angeles Times Opinion editorial board to cover climate change and environmental justice.
Barboza has been with the Times for 15 years. He was also a Ted Scripps Fellow in environmental journalism at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He was also a part-time general assignment reporter at the Claremont Courier.
He was also an editorial intern at High Country News.
Barboza graduated from Pomona College.
