Global News Ottawa has hired Alex Boutilier as a national reporter for politics and investigations, filing across online, TV and radio. He recently was a staff reporter at The Toronto Star.
He has also worked freelance and was a reporter covering municipal matters for Metro Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario. He has also worked as a reporter on the legislature beat at the Metro Halifax in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Boutilier graduated from Dalhousie University.
