Earlier, she was a PR and media officer at the Office for National Statistics. She has also worked as a trainee journalist, news reporter and North of England correspondent at The Guardian. She has also interned at Vice Media and Financial Times.
Walker has a B.A. from Goldsmiths, the University of London, and a M.A. in journalism from the University of Sheffield.
