Rodrigo Torrejon, a reporter covering New Jersey at The Star-Ledger/nj.com, has left his post after two years.
Previously, he worked as a municipal reporter and then as a breaking news reporter at The Record. He was also a staff reporter at Suburban News, of North Jersey Media Group, covering Franklin Lakes, Oakland, and Waldwick.
There, he won first-place for the Robert P. Kelly Award, a recognition given to new journalists by the New Jersey Press Association.
Torrejon has a B.A. in journalism from Temple University, where he also wrote for the student paper.
