Sky News taps Udale-Smith as science and tech producer

Sky News has promoted Alice Udale-Smith to the post of specialist science and tech producer. In her new role, Udale-Smith will also be covering climate change in addition to science and tech stories.

Udale-Smith has been with Sky News for 6 years, recently serving as a journalist and news producer. Before that, she was a production assistant at ITN Productions and was an assistant producer at Global.

She also served as a data journalist for The Times and Sunday Times at News UK. She also served as editor-in-chief, journalist and company director at Varsity Publications Ltd. She has also worked at the BBC.

Udale-Smith has a B.A. and M.Sc. from University of Cambridge and an M.A. in broadcast journalism from City University of London.
