Silva joins NBC News as breaking news editor

Chantal Da Silva will be joining NBC News as a breaking news editor. Previously, she was a senior reporter and then chief correspondent at Newsweek. She was also a sub-editor and news writer at The Independent.

She has also worked at CBC Television.

Silva has an M.A. in journalism from Western University.
