The New York Times has hired Leah Askarinam as co-host of On Politics. She begins Dec. 27.
Recently, Askarinam served as editor-in-chief of Hotline at the National Journal. She was also a reporter and analyst at Inside Elections LLC and was an assistant editor at The Atlantic. She was also a fellow at Atlantic Media.
On Politics will be available for a limited time to all readers and then will become part of the Times newsletter portfolio that is available only to paying subscribers.
Askarinam graduated from Tulane University.
