Salaverría appointed international engagement editor at Digital Journalism

Ramón Salaverría

Ramón Salaverría is the new international engagement editor at Digital Journalism in the UK, the top-ranked scientific journal in the news media research field.

He has been on the board of the journal since last year. Previously, Salaverría was full professor of journalism at the University of Navarra in Spain.

He is also an advisory board member at SembraMedia, a US based non-profit online community and startup directory, under the sponsorship of the Independent News Network, dedicated to helping Spanish-language digital media entrepreneurs become more sustainable.

Previously, he worked in Spain as a news correspondent at Agencia Colpisa and as a news reporter, news-magazine editor and weekend news editor at Cadena SER.
