Katie Orr, politics and government reporter at KQED News in California will be leaving to join Paschal Roth, a communications team serving clients across California as a senior strategist.
Her new role begins in January.
Orr had been in journalism for over 19 years, previously serving as a state government reporter at Capital Public Radio. She was also a metro reporter at KPBS in San Diego, California and was a reporter/host at WVXU in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She also served as a news director at WNIN Tri-State Public Media, Inc. in Evansville, Indiana and was a reporter/news anchor at Four Corners Broadcasting in Durango, Colorado.
Orr earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in political science and government from San Diego State University.
