Ohio Capital Journal reporter Buchanan set to depart

Tyler Buchanan

Tyler Buchanan, a reporter covering the Ohio Statehouse and general politics in the state at the Ohio Capital Journal, is leaving.

Previously, Buchanan was covering general assignments and was then an editor at The Athens Messenger and The Vinton-Jackson Courier.

He was also a general assignment reporter, lead political reporter, web editor and In Focus editor at The BG News. He has also reported for Examiner.com and was an editorial intern at Sandusky Register.

Buchanan earned his bachelor’s degree in print journalism and political science from Bowling Green State University.
