NBC News has tapped Olivia Richard as associate producer, podcasts.
She joins from Southern California Public Radio where she worked as an assistant producer and then as an associate producer.
Richard also works freelance for various publications.
The award-winning journalist was also an associate producer at LAist.com and KJZZ Phoenix. She was also an education reporter at Arizona PBS and an intern at NBCUniversal. She was also a Scripps Roy W. Howard fellow at Scripps Howard News Service.
She was also a legislative reporter at Arizona Capitol Television and a news and feature reporter at Blaze Radio 1130 AM. She was also an arts and entertainment reporter and photographer at The State Press.
Richard has a B.A. in broadcast journalism from Arizona State University.
