James Gant has been promoted to the post of senior news reporter at MailOnline.
Gant joined the title in 2018 as a trainee reporter and most recently held the post of news reporter. He was also a news reporter at SWNS Media Group U.K.
Gant has also reported for the Belfast Telegraph and has contributed to The Tab.
He also interned at The Guardian, the Yorkshire Evening Post, Press Association, BBC News and Trinity Mirror plc.
Gant holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Sheffield.
