Jose Olivares is now a lead producer, podcasts, at The Intercept. Previously, he was an associate producer at WNYC Radio.
Previously, he was also a fellow at The Intercept and has interned at NPR.
He has also worked as an assistant for the Reynolds School of Journalism’s Reynolds MediaLab.
Olivares was also a general news intern at the Reno Gazette-Journal.
Olivares has a B.A. in journalism and sociology from the University of Nevada-Reno.
