Morgan Gstalter has joined the ABC News Washington team as a social media producer.
Recently, she was a social media curator at The Hill. She was also a city desk reporter at Beaumont Enterprise.
Previously, she served as editor-in-chief of Urban Plains, where she was awarded the prestigious Associated Collegiate Press Online Pacemaker.
She has also interned with the Iowa Secretary of State and was managing editor at the Times-Delphic. There, she also worked as a staff writer, digital editor and news editor.
Gstalter’s work has appeared in The Hill, The Des Moines Register, USA Today, Chicago Tribune Media Group and Hearst network partners (Beaumont Enterprise, Houston Chronicle, San Antonio Express-News, Albany Times Union, Hardin County News and San Francisco Chronicle).
She has also worked at Niles West News and the Journalism Education Association.
Gstalter is a graduate of the the Drake University School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
