The New York Times has appointed J. David Goodman as Houston bureau chief. Goodman moves from Metro in New York where he covered the New York City Hall.
Goodman has been with the Times for more than 13 years. He has held numerous roles at the publication, including web producer, homepage producer and reporter. He has also worked as a newsroom clerk at International Herald Tribune.
Goodman is a M.S. in journalism from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
