Education Week appoints Frerking editor-in-chief

Beth Frerking

Education Week has appointed Beth Frerking as its next editor-in-chief. Previously, she was working as a self-employed journalist and newsroom leader.

She has also served a news vertical editor at The Dallas Morning News and was editor-in-chief of The Rivard Report in San Antonio, Texas. She also served as editor-in-chief at The National Law Journal, ALM Media, LLC.

She was also an assistant managing editor at Politico and was a Washington correspondent/bureau chief at The Denver Post. She has also reported for the Dallas Times Herald.
