Daily Mirror appoints Taylor deputy head of news

The Daily Mirror has promoted Joshua Taylor to the post of deputy head of news.

Taylor has been with the Daily Mirror for over 4 years, joining as online news reporter. He then served as assistant news editor, deputy news editor, associate news editor and assistant editor – digital.

He was also a business journalist, multimedia journalist and social affairs reporter at the Liverpool Echo. He was also a trainee reporter and a senior reporter at Burton Mail.

Taylor is a NCTJ-certified journalist.
