Thomas McKinless is now a video editor at Newsy.
The move comes as Newsy aims to double its size ahead of an Oct. 1 over-the-air launch, reports Politico.
Previously, McKinless was a senior multimedia reporter at CQ – Roll Call. He has also interned at Massey Cancer Center and Smithsonian Enterprises.
He was also a multimedia editor at The Commonwealth Times.
McKinless has a B.S. in mass communication/media studies from Virginia Commonwealth University.
