Saba Hamedy, news editor – National desk at CNN, has left.

She also teaches at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. She was also a news editor at HuffPost, and previously has also served as a politics reporter at CNN.

She was a digital entertainment reporter at Mashable. She also reported for Los Angeles Times Times and was a Pulliam fellow at The Arizona Republic.

She has also interned at The Christian Science Monitor and was Washington D.C. correspondent at Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

She served as managing editor and then editor-in-chief of The Daily Free Press.

Hamedy interned at Columbus Travel Media Ltd. and Santa Monica Mirror.

Hamedy holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Boston University.
