Beck Media has promoted Tom McAlister to the post of president. He has also been named the strategic communication agency’s first-ever partner, reports Variety.
In his new role, McAlister will lead operations at the company’s Austin, Atlanta, New York City and San Francisco locations, as well as its Santa Monica headquarters.

Since rejoining Beck Media in 2014, McAlister has led campaigns for clients including ZipRecruiter, National Geographic and Facebook Watch.
He is also the founder of Beck Purpose, a pro bono corporate social responsibility initiative that offers aid to nonprofits.
McAlister has also worked at Hulu, joining as director, original program marketing and then serving as head of content marketing. He was also director, publicity initiatives, Warner Bros, Television. He has also worked as a team lead at Beck Media and Marketing.
He was also an account supervisor at PMK.BNC.
McAlister adds:
