Matt Cohen has joined American Independent as a political reporter.
Recently, he was a senior investigative reporting fellow at Mother Jones. He was also an arts editor at Washington City Paper.
He was also an associate editor and then served as editor-in-chief at DCist.com.
Cohen graduated from Salisbury University.
