Alyssa Zeisler has been hired by Barron’s to be its audience managing editor, a new position.
Zeisler, who starts next week, will be working to grow Barron’s audience, create subscriber loyalty and grow the impact of its reporting.
Zeisler has been an engagement strategist at The Financial Times since June 2015. While there, she pioneered the editorial methodology used to set goals and key performance indicators, spearheaded the use of data in the FT newsroom, and developed systematic and multidisciplinary strategies to grow reach and engagement, an internal measure based on the recency, frequency and volume of article consumption.
Her work contributed to a 22 percent increase in user engagement and 8 percent growth in Financial Times subscriptions in 2016.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics from McGill University and a master’s degree in management from the London Business School.
