Yahoo Finance has lured two editors from TheStreet.com to join the Verizon-owned site, reports Keith Kelly of the New York Post.
Kelly writes, “Brian Sozzi, who became executive editor of TheStreet late last year, will be joining Yahoo Finance on Oct. 1, leading coverage of equity markets and the industries that make up those markets, including retail, restaurants, banks and tech, a spokeswoman said.
“‘Managing Editor Jerry Kronenberg assumes responsibility so we haven’t missed a beat,’ said TheStreet Chief Executive Officer David Callaway.
“TheStreet’s Scott Gamm starts his new gig at Yahoo on Oct. 8 as a reporter covering financial markets, the economy and personal finance.”
