Brad Westbrook has been hired as head of strategic initiatives for Dow Jones Media Group.
In this newly created position, Westbrook will oversee business development and new commercial alliances for Barron’s, MarketWatch, Mansion Global and Financial News.
Prior to joining Dow Jones Media Group, Westbrook was vice president of sales and strategy at Seeking Alpha during a period of sharp revenue growth. He also served as chief operating officer for Ashton Kutcher’s media company, named A Plus, which was acquired in 2016.
Westbrook also has worked for digital media companies Yahoo, Ask.com, and previously The Wall Street Journal Digital Network. He was global sales manager for MarketWatch.com and Smart Money magazine.
He holds a degree from Denison University.
