She will work closely with editor-In-chief Andy Serwer and managing editor Sam Ro to oversee how news is presented and delivered to Yahoo Finance’s readers. Her first day will be May 9.
Fuchs comes to Yahoo from Business Insider, where she was senior editor of the news and education teams, and also oversaw features for the site’s front page.
She initially joined Business Insider four years ago to launch its law section, and had previously served as senior reporter at Law360, where she covered the Supreme Court, class-action litigation and the meltdown of the global law firm Howrey LLP.
Fuchs has a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
