Wall Street Journal reporter Alison Sider is now covering the business of travel as her beat.
She started her new beat on Tuesday.
Sider previously spent nearly six years covering energy beats at The Journal, Most recently, she was covering oil and natural gas markets in New York. Previously she wrote about the energy industry from Houston.
She also spent nearly three years as a reporter for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Little Rock.
Sider is an MBA graduate of the University of Texas and has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago.
