WSJ snags Choice Hotels account
The Wall Street Journal has been selected by leading lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International as the preferred newspaper to be distributed at more than 3,700 Choice Hotels properties in North America.
The Journal will be delivered as a complimentary amenity to hotel guests upon request beginning Jan. 1, 2011.
“The Wall Street Journal remains the nation’s top newspaper, and we continue to see results of our investment in and expansion of our content to better serve readers,” said Lynne Brennen, senior vice president, circulation marketing, in a statement. “The nationwide guests of Choice Hotels properties will now have direct access to the Journal’s high-quality news, information and analysis when traveling for business or leisure.”
Participating Choice Hotels brands include Cambria Suites, Clarion Hotel, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, MainStay Suites, Quality Inn and Sleep Inn.

I work at a choice hotel and nobody reads the WSJ. They need to bring USA Today back. I’ve had several people say they don’t like them and would perfer the USA Todays back. Not speaking for all the choice hotels because I’m sure it’s different everywhere you go, but we like USA Today!
