Wall Street Journal reporter Byron Tau is moving to a new beat — the Justice Department and the FBI — in the paper’s Washington bureau.
Tau has been covering Congress and politics for the paper.
Prior to joining the newspaper, Tau was a reporter at Politico from August 2011 to November 2014 where he covered the White House, lobbying, campaign finance and politics.
For two years, he served as Politico’s lobbying and campaign finance reporter, writing a daily newsletter on the lobbying industry in Washington.
Tau holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree from McGill University.
