WSJ names new B school reporter

Lindsay GellmanLindsay GellmanLindsay Gellman has joined the Wall Street Journal’s management bureau in New York as a reporter covering business schools and business education.

She also contributes to the Journal’s management and careers coverage.

Previously, Gellman worked on Sunday Journal covering personal finance. She also covered a range of other topics for the Journal, writing Page One stories on tiger selfies on the dating app Tinder, America’s obsession with Ranch dressing, and food-festival pageant queens.

Before coming to the Journal in 2013, she interned at the Huffington Post as a member of Arianna Huffington’s team. She graduated from Yale University, where she majored in English with a concentration in writing.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
