WSJ launches rural India site

The Wall Street Journal and India Knowledge@Wharton launched Thursday an online site for information about rural India, an area which is home to approximately 700 million of the country’s 1.2 billion people.

The new site, hosted by india.WSJ.com, contains reporting, analysis, interviews, commentary and video, combining new and features with an archive of previously released material.

Business decision-makers and investors in the country and overseas require accurate, timely and independent coverage of rural India’s development.”
